An argument at a South Carolina motel got out of control as one of the guests decided to use a snake as a weapon against the other guest.
The argument began last Tuesday at a motel in the city of Rock Hill, just south of Charolette.
The victim, an unidentified male, told police that he confronted the suspect, 29 year old Tony Smith, when the music coming from Smith's room was too loud.
The confrontation was not eventful and appeared to be over. Or that is what they thought.
A few hours later, Smith saw and attacked the victim outside of his room and hit him in the head with nothing other than a four foot python snake. Police were called, and Smith was arrested for assault and battery. The snake was released to family members.
Well, there are pros and cons of using a python snake as a weapon. Pros : Doesn't make a lot of noise, people usually don't like snakes, pythons are big and strong, you can disable a person without mortally injuring them, think taser but four feet long. Cons : Most people do not have snakes just lying around, especially at motels, the snake could be heavy which doesn't allow for great mobility, and a snake doesn't usually cause a lot of injury, if that is what you want to do.
I am guessing that alcohol was involved.
